Like many adopted Texans say … I wasn’t born here, but I got here as soon as I could. And like many wise people say … it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.
The journey that brought me to Austin in 2008 with my young family and subsequently starting into the real estate industry in 2010 has absolutely prepared me to do excellent work every day for my clients.
Real estate is not a job to me, it’s a calling. And as my clients tell me over and over, my services are Absolutely Above and Beyond.
What are the ideal skills and mindset necessary to provide this level of service?
- The ability to analyze the market (and all its sub-markets), anticipate shifts and guide clients toward solid financial decisions.
- The ability to ask great questions at the beginning of our work together and listen carefully to the answers, always — so we are on the same page and execute a plan together to meet your goals.
- The ability to think outside the box when the situation calls for it.
- A “never give up” mindset. That’s where the greatest satisfaction lies for me: making the seemingly impossible, possible; taking emotion out of the process; always seeking common ground and helping all stakeholders make it safely to the closing table.
This all takes patience, tenacity, great communication and negotiation skills, and a simple love of the work.
